Update (10/1): Tinashe's "Player," featuring the very in-demand Chris Brown, is here. Spin notes that the track was written by Tinashe, Chloe Angelides, Lukas "Lulou" Loules and Alexander "Alex Purple" Kronlund. Those three have collaborated, respectively, with Nicki Minaj, Carly Rae Jepsen and Demi Lovato.
"Player" has the bassy bumps Tinashe's Aquarius was built around, but it's more of a radio-ready singalong jam. Spin it above; you can also press play on a Breezy-less version below. Joyride drops in November.
Original story (9/23): Tinashe's sophomore studio album, Joyride, cannot come soon enough. 2014's Aquarius (specifically the Drake-approved hit "2 On") made us fall head over heels in love with the up-and-coming R&B starlet and it's about time we get some new music out of her.
In an interview with Travis Mills on Beats 1, the singer revealed that she's collaborated with Chris Brown for a song called "Player." "I’ve always kinda wanted to do a song with [Chris],” she told Mills. "Obviously, he’s one of the best entertainers of our generation…It’s just exciting to be able to work with him.”
