Nick Jonas Talks New Album: Max Martin & Purity Ring on Board
Nick Jonas' self-titled solo album essentially erased his JoBro past and established him as one of pop's sexiest hitmakers. The 23-year-old is keen to keep that success going with his sophomore album, which is set for early next year.
Along with the record's anticipated release date, Jonas revealed a few key details about the upcoming follow-up to Nick Jonas to Spin. Pop maestro Max Martin (who's on a No. 1 roll this year with The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face," plus Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" and "Bad Blood") is on board, and crafted a song titled "Under You." Nick previewed the tune at the 2015 iHeartMedia Music Summit earlier this year and said it's got a music video that has "a really incredible guest star who just absolutely killed it. She looks amazing and had a huge acting role in this video." Could it be rumored beau Kendall Jenner?
Jonas also revealed he's working with Corin Roddick of electronic duo Purity Ring, an unexpectedly awesome collabo of indie and Top 40 worlds.
