Simple Plan & Nelly Team Up For "I Don't Want To Go To Bed"

Remember Simple Plan? The mid-aughts pop-punk giants who released a ridiculously strong debut album and went on to acquire real, mainstream fame? Well, they're baaaack!

Earlier this summer, the guys dropped "Boom," a high-energy song about being in love. The video featured pop-punk's latest and greatest -- everyone from PVRIS to Black Veil Brides to All Time Low to Pierce the Veil -- so we had to wonder: What kind of guests will their in-the-works album feature? At no point did we guess Nelly.

The "Hot In Herre" rapper sings backup on the group's latest single, "I Don't Want To Go To Bed," which more or less plays out like any other SP tune: Thick, delicate melody in the intro followed by a fiery chorus. This song is, like, kind of funky though? We're confused and delighted.

Listen/watch above and decide for yourself, then revisit our exclusive interview with the guys from the 2015 Warped Tour.
