5 Seconds of Summer's Sounds Good Feels Good album is looking good on the albums chart today, as the sophomore LP has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
The Australian pop-rockers sold 192,000 equivalent album units of the follow-up to their 2014 self-titled debut, according to Nielsen Music. Of that number, 179,000 constituted pure album sales (5 Seconds of Summer started at No. 1 with 259,000 sold in 2014).
Billboard points out that 5SOS is the only band that's not a pure vocal group to see its first two albums start at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Below 5 Seconds of Summer, Carrie Underwood's new album Storyteller starts at No. 2 with 177,000 equivalent album units.
