With Adele's grasp on the music industry firmly re-established, she might be eyeing new realms to take over. Xavier Dolan, the Canadian writer/actor/director/producer behind the "Hello" video, is putting together his English language debut, and it may feature a cameo from Adele herself.

The film is called The Death And Life Of John F. Donovan; it's in pre-production, and stars Jessica Chastain, Kathy Bates, Susan Sarandon and Game of Thrones' Kit Harington.

Adele won the Oscar for Best Original Song with her 2012 James Bond theme "Skyfall." Deadline notes that she's not expected to record music for The Death And Life Of John F. Donovan.

Dolan's previous films include I Killed My Mother, Tom at the Farm and Mommy. Fun fact: He was the voiceover actor for the French versions of the Harry Potter films, in the role of Ron Weasley, and the Twilight movies, as Jacob Black.
