The star-studded 2015 American Music Awards went out with a bang, as Justin Bieber took the stage to perform a triumphant medley of hits.
Bieber's spectacular 2015 came full circle at the AMAs, as the 21-year-old bared his soul on an acoustic rendition of "What Do You Mean?," before diving into the choreographed EDM of "Where Are U Now." Finally, the Biebs unveiled his new "Sorry," water pouring down on his baseball cap and dancers splashing behind him. The entire crowd was given purple glowsticks, and most waved them with aplomb during the show-stopping medley.
The AMAs performance took place on the same day that Bieber officially earned his sixth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as Purpose opened in the top spot over One Direction's Made In The A.M. "What Do You Mean?," which Bieber performed at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, became his first No. 1 single on the Hot 100 chart, while "Sorry" has peaked at No. 2 thus far.
