Stream Kurt Cobain's 'Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings'

The record that's been billed "Kurt Cobain's first solo album" is here. In deluxe form, Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings runs 71 minutes with its 31 demo-heavy tracks.

The album follows May's HBO documentary, co-executive produced by Frances Bean Cobain, the Nirvana frontman's 23-year-old daughter with Courtney Love. The flick was directed by Brett Morgen, whose credits include VH1's Say It Loud: A Celebration of Black Music in America.

Curious parties about to push play may wonder if track one, "The Yodel Song," is what its title promises. The answer is yes. A 13-track, single-CD version of Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings is also available to stream and purchase.
