Paris police have stormed the Bataclan venue and killed two attackers responsible for fatally shooting dozens of Eagles of Death Metal concertgoers on Friday night (Nov. 13), according to the Associated Press and Reuters. Per CNN, around 100 people have been killed at the Paris concert hall.

As reported earlier, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks erupted across Paris tonight, including the shootings and hostage situation at Eagles of Death Metal’s Bataclan gig, a soccer stadium, and local restaurants.

Eagles of Death Metal has released an initial statement on social media saying they are still trying to determine the safety of their band and crew. Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme, who is also Eagles of Death Metal’s drummer, was reportedly not on tour with EODM at this time.

Deftones, who were scheduled to perform at the Bataclan for three nights beginning tomorrow (Nov. 14-16), were in attendance at the Eagles of Death Metal show, but were reportedly able to escape unharmed.

France has declared a state of emergency.
