A ride based on The Walking Dead is ready to go—it just needs a home. At the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo 2015, Sally Corp revealed its new, fully designed "dark ride"—as in "takes place in the dark," not "thematically dark," although it'll certainly be both—via a post-apocalyptic booth and an animatronic zombie.

"Designer Rich Hill says it’ll be a bit scarier than most dark rides, not necessarily for all ages, but the gore will be toned down a bit from the show," reports Inside the Magic. Hill promises that "it's gonna be an anchor attraction for some park."

Slashfilm elaborates on Sally Corp and what we might expect from The Walking Dead: Battle for Survival:

"Most of Sally Corp’s dark rides combine 3D projection, physical sets, and animatronics, moving thrill-seekers through a physical environment that is enhanced through screens and animated characters. Their more recent output has borrowed from a trend started by Men in Black: Alien Attack at Universal Studios and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at the Disney theme parks—guests are usually armed with plastic weapons, letting them interact with their surroundings by shooting everything that moves."
