Dirty Dancing fans, lend us your ears. A remake of the Patrick Swayze-Jennifer Grey 1987 classic is underway, and the revamped version will be a three-hour TV musical.

This time, the female lead will be played by teen dream Abigail Breslin. You might know her from the 2015 hit Scream Queens or her big break in Little Miss Sunshine.

The new program will air on ABC. Breslin's character is described as "an innocent young woman in the early 1960’s who vacations with her affluent parents and siblings in the Catskill Mountains and falls for the resort’s working-class dance instructor.” We hear that nobody puts her in a corner!

Additional details arrive courtesy Entertainment Weekly: "Executive producers include Allison Shearmur (The Hunger Games) and Eleanor Bergstein, who also wrote the screenplay for the original movie. Jessica Sharzer (The L Word) will write the adaptation and Wayne Blair (The Sapphires) will direct. Also, the music will be done by Adam Anders and Peer Astrom (Glee) with Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton) as choreographer."
