You Can Now Watch Kanye West's 40-Minute Oxford Lecture
Any week can be Kanye Week in one’s heart of hearts, but in these days following Kim Kardashian giving birth giving birth to baby Saint, it feels especially suitable to celebrate all things Yeezy. Fortunately we’ve now got the full official video of ‘Ye’s Oxford guest lecture from March 2015, two months before he received his honorary doctorate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Some of what Kanye described as “the best, illest quotes,” as reported at the time of the lecture, included:
"People say it takes a village to raise a child. People ask me how my daughter is doing. She's only doing good if your daughter's doing good. We're all one family. We have the ability to approach our race like ants, or we have the ability to approach our race like crabs."
