Pantera Song Used in New Carl’s Jr. Commercial

Do you ever think of heavy metal when sinking your teeth into a mouth-watering fast-food burger? Well, now you might, because the U.S. chain Carl’s Jr. has paired Pantera’s 1994 classic “I’m Broken” with an ad for their new Steakhouse Thickburger.

In the clip, a lovely table setting is overpowered by the raucous sounds of “I’m Broken,” in an ad that attempts to break your hunger. Blabbermouth points out that Carl’s Jr. has raised its devil horns in ads before, using Death Angel’s “The Ultra-Violence” in a commercial for the Jalapeño Turkey Burger. Somewhere, Carl Jr. is head-banging.

“I’m Broken” comes from Pantera’s Far Beyond Driven album. For more December-timed metal, check out this perfect doom parody of “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
