Pusha T is wrapping up 2015 stronger than ever. Today he dropped King Push: Darkest Before Dawn – The Prelude, the first of two albums he's got in store. There's a 22-minute film that goes with it. And, of course, he's the recently named president of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label.
MTV spoke with the Clipse alum about what's on the docket for the crew, and the answer's got us pumped:
“There are a few things on the mood board that I want to see, things that I feel are more fan catering. The fans really need to see a tour and a festival. Everybody on G.O.O.D. is a person who’s in the mix of the culture and I feel like the fans haven’t gotten to see us on one platform, on a major platform, all of us together, unified, just giving back to them.”
The last time G.O.O.D. came together for a focused project was 2012's Cruel Summer, a 12-track compilation that featured "Clique," "Don't Like," "Mercy," "New God Flow." The label's current roster includes Big Sean, John Legend, Teyana Taylor, Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), and Q-Tip.
