Get ready, sports fans! Super Bowl 50 will already be one for the history books. We know Coldplay have been given the honor of performing at the halftime show, but what kind of set would it be without a special guest or two?

Idolator reports (via the U.K.'s Daily Mirror) that buds Rihanna and Beyoncé might make an appearance. Seriously! The surprise stints would make sense, considering Bey is on two tracks on the British band's latest album, A Head Full Of Dreams. And who could forget the Coldplay-RiRi collabo, "Princess of China"?

Apparently a Super Bowl "insider" has shared the following statement:

"Chris and his band know they’re not typically as showy as recent performers like Katy Perry and Madonna with all the dancers and, while they love a light show, they still want to bring a few surprises out. Beyoncé and Rihanna are both keen to join in the high-profile ceremony and will add just the spark needed to make it an amazing and unforgettable show.”
