Taylor Swift will cap off a monumental 2015 by unveiling her latest music video during its final hours. The “Out of the Woods” video will premiere during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, it was announced on ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday (Dec. 22).
“Out of the Woods,” co-written with Bleachers head Jack Antonoff, will be the sixth single from Swift’s 2014 album, 1989. The first five—“Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” “Style,” “Bad Blood” and “Wildest Dreams”—all reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will premiere at 8:00 pm ET on Dec. 31, and feature live performances from Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood, among others. Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy will once again hold down the hosting duties.
Perhaps Swift will perform "Out of the Woods" at the GRAMMY Awards in February? Although no performances have been announced yet, Swift is a major player at this year's ceremony: 1989 is up for album of the year, and "Blank Space" could win record of the year and song of the year.
