Celine Dion's brother, Daniel, has passed away at the age of 59 just two days after the singer's husband, René Angélil, died at 73 years old.

Daniel passed away on Saturday morning (Jan. 16) after battling throat, brain and tongue cancer, according to TMZ. Angélil passed away after a long fight against throat cancer.

A statement from Daniel's family reads, “His last days were in the wonderful care of the doctors and personnel at Maison Adhémar-Dion, a palliative care center in Terrebonne, Québec. For those wishing to send flowers, a donation to that organization would be very much appreciated.”

Following Angélil's death on Thursday, Dion canceled her weekend performances at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. She has not released a statement since her husband's passing.
