Watch Coldplay Get Trippy in the Desert in the ‘Birds’ Video

Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams era is all about love, maaaan, and after the “Adventure of a Lifetime” clip showed a bunch of gorillas having a blast and sporting choreographed dance moves, the video for “Birds” finds the quartet tripping out in a Southern California desert.

Directed by Marcus Haney, the “Birds” visual finds Coldplay visiting the Salvation Mountain art monument near Slab City, Calif., and embracing the bright colors of the display in the middle of the desert. Psychedelic images and kaleidoscopic set pieces are thrown in for good measure.

We’re almost a month away from Coldplay taking part in the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, set to take place in Santa Clara, Calif. on Feb. 7. Click here to vote for the song you think needs to be played on the biggest stage in the world.
