David Bowie Impersonates Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young on Newly Discovered Recording
An astonishing piece of David Bowie audio have been unveiled, featuring the recently passed music legend trying out impersonations of some of rock music’s biggest stars.
The audio comes from a 1985 session in which Bowie started spouting impersonations of Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, Neil Young, Iggy Pop and more while working with producer Mark Saunders. Following his death earlier this month, Saunders revealed that he taped the session, and shared the audio with The Talkhouse.
