Earlier this month, Iggy Azalea returned with “Azillion,” a new non-single meant to tease her forthcoming sophomore album, Digital Distortion. On Wednesday night (Jan. 20), Azalea told fans on Twitter that “Azillion” was not receiving a music video, and laid the blame at the feet of her overseas label, Virgin EMI.

“Bad news update:my record label Virgin/EMI seems to feel the response to my viral record "zillon" wasnt good enough & im not allowed a video,” Azalea wrote. She also called out Virgin EMI president Ted Cockle by name, writing that he “doesn’t wanna see me shine.”

The “Fancy” rapper is signed to Def Jam in the U.S., and has said multiple times that she hopes to become solely a Def Jam artist at some point. Last month, Azalea wrote that her next official single is called “Team,” and that it would be dropping sometime after January.

Digital Distortion is due out this spring. Click here to gain some insight into its track list.
