Samuel L. Jackson: 'The Force Awakens' Needed Better Lightsaber Action
Samuel L. Jackson is in an excellent Quentin Tarantino film, The Hateful 8, right now. Crushing it and everything else at the box office is another excellent film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. And in a perfect storm of movie madness, critic Peter Travers had a televised chance to ask Jackson, who played purple-lightsabered Jedi master Mace Windu in George Lucas' Star Wars prequels, what he thought.
"It's...it's...it's done in the spirit of the Star Wars films."
Very true! Very tentative delivery, also!
