Sting will take the court in Toronto next month to perform at halftime of the 2016 NBA All-Star Game. The rock icon will headline the NBA All-Star Entertainment Series presented by JBL on Sunday, Feb. 14.
The performance precedes Sting's Rock Paper Scissors co-headlining tour with Peter Gabriel. Last year, Ariana Grande headlined the NBA All-Star Halftime Show.
Prior to Sting's performance, Cirque du Soleil will perform during tip-off as the performer through the player introductions. A press release promises that the performance will be "blending together acrobatics, dance and technology illustrating the story of a basketball dream."
Coverage of the NBA All-Star Game, taking place at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, begins at 8:00 ET on TNT for U.S. viewers on Feb. 14. Drake and Kevin Hart will be coaches in the All-Star Celebrity Game that weekend; click here for more details.
