Report: DMX Stable After Being Discovered Without a Pulse
TMZ's late Monday report that DMX was hospitalized for a collapse-inducing asthma attack evidently didn't have the whole story. Now the site is writing that the Ruff Ryder found himself "at death's door ... not breathing, without a pulse and the signs point to an overdose." He is now said to be in stable condition.
Police were called to the Ramada Inn in Yonkers, N.Y. at 6PM on Monday. The report says the rapper regained semi-consciousness after one minute of CPR. "A witness on scene told cops DMX had ingested some sort of powder before lapsing into unconsciousness. Cops gave him Narcan, an antidote to narcotic ODs."
In July 2015, DMX was given a six-month jail sentence over $400,00 worth of unpaid child support. His last album was 2012's Undisputed; he dropped the Redemption of the Beast mixtape in January 2015.
Stay tuned for more information about DMX's hospitalization and condition.
