February is Black History Month and we here at Fuse are celebrating in a big way. You might've noticed that everyday we're spotlighting an actor, musician, writer, politician...any and all public figures who are currently revolutionizing their specific field, who are making history before our very eyes. We're calling it Future Black History Month.

There are some killer folks on that list, and today, it's all about comedian Hannibal Buress.

You probably first recall seeing Buress on 30 Rock as a minor character. He's completely exploded since that humble role, landing gigs on Louie, Kroll Show, The Mindy Project, Bob's Burgers, The Eric Andre Show and most recently, the hilarious Broad City. He's not strictly a TV man, either: His film repertoire includes NeighborsDaddy's Home and the upcoming Angry Birds and Baywatch.

It's not just that Buress is a hilarious guy, it's how he's hilarious: he can offer biting cultural commentary while also reminding the world about the sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby, as he did in a 2014 clip that went viral. Buress is unapologetic in his takedowns of cultural touchstones, and he's only just begun a career of unwrapping the truth with humor.
