The 2016 GRAMMYs will include a special tribute to Lionel Richie that looks to be a genre-bending live affair. Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor, John Legend and Luke Bryan will all come together for a tribute performance to the 66-year-old former Commodores singer. The four stars will sing songs from Richie's five decades in the industry and the man himself will at one point join the squad to perform one of his classics.
This will mark the first time Lovato, Trainor and Bryan have performed at the GRAMMYs.
The Richie tribute is the second of the night, following the news that Lady Gaga will pay homage to David Bowie at the show too. The aforementioned singers joined a stacked GRAMMY lineup; see the full list below:
-Lady Gaga (for a David Bowie tribute)
-Justin Bieber with Jack Ü (Diplo & Skrillex)
-The Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Johnny Depp)
-The cast of Broadway's Hamilton
-Pitbull feat. Robin Thicke and Travis Barker
-Little Big Town
