Following the 2016 GRAMMY Awards, a story broke that Paul McCartney and Beck were not allowed entry to rapper Tyga’s after-party on Monday night (Feb. 15). TMZ captured video of a frustrated McCartney not being allowed into the Argyle in Hollywood, which is understandable, since he’s a freaking Beatle.
Tyga cleared the air one night later on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he explained that he wasn’t aware of the situation… and it wasn’t even his party!
“Tweet the fire marshal! Don’t tweet me!” Tyga told Kimmel’s audience. The rapper explained that he had “no knowledge” of the Macca snub, and said, “I wish I knew he was outside, I would’ve went out there with a mic and brought him in to perform with me.”
Tyga also invited McCartney to perform with him on Feb. 26 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. What would Tyga’s version of “Only One” sound like? Perhaps we’ll soon find out.
