Lady Gaga may have lost the Best Original Song Oscar to Sam Smith, but she won a standing ovation at the Academy Awards, the admiration of thousands of viewers and a loving tweet from Kesha, who’s currently embroiled in a legal battle with Dr. Luke.

Following the Oscars performance, which found Gaga being introduced by Vice President Joe Biden and inviting victims of sexual assault onstage, Kesha posted:

Gaga performed “Til It Happens To You,” her anthem for sexual assault survivors, from the documentary The Hunting Ground. The song lost out to Smith’s “Writing’s On The Wall,” from Spectre.

Prior to the Oscars, Gaga posted to Kesha on Twitter, “I'll be thinking of u 2nite.” Click here for a special Lady Gaga-centric episode of Fuse’s new Pop Chat podcast!
