With seven nominations for her blockbuster 1989 album, it made sense that Taylor Swift would open the 2016 GRAMMY Awards with the LP's latest single "Out of the Woods."

With a forest-themed background, Tay gave a dramatic rendition of "Out of the Woods" accompanied her friend/fun. guitarist/Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff. Taylor finished off the performance with loads of belts and vocal runs that we aren't used to hearing from singer, seemingly set on showcasing her true diva side of herself to the GRAMMY audience.

It was an exciting kick off to the show not only for Taylor (who's already a GRAMMY winner tonight), but for a ceremony that includes performances by fellow superstars like Kendrick Lamar, Adele, Lady Gaga, and more. See the most updated list of performers here.

How do we think Taylor will fare in the three major categories she's nominated in? Take a look in our GRAMMY predictions here.
