Ariana Grande wanted you to “Focus” on her last fall… and now, she wants you to focus on another single to precede her third album. “Dangerous Woman,” the stylish new Grande track, was released on Thursday night (Mar. 10) and previews the pop star’s follow-up to 2014’s My Everything, due out in May.
Unlike “Focus,” which very closely followed the blueprint of Grande’s smash “Problem,” “Dangerous Woman” sounds like the singer’s sultry twist on Rihanna’s arena pop. Or, maybe, arena rock, with an extended guitar solo connecting two choruses of power chords and the instantly catchy chant, “Something ‘bout you!/Makes me feel like a dangerous woman…”
