Grande's 2014 sophomore album My Everything boasted five hit singles, two GRAMMY nominations and a massive accompanying tour to its name, in a strict antithesis to the sophomore slump. The tiny diva first hinted she was (quickly!) at work on its follow-up in June 2015, giving a slight indication of the direction.

On June 1, 2015, Ari chatted with a fan on Twitter and said the title of the third album is Moonlight, adding that the title doubles as her "favorite / most special song [she's recorded] to this day."

Sticking to Twitter to reveal most of her news, Ari also teased that her new album's campaign would begin in October, which began with the single and music video release of "Focus."

In a February 29 livechat Q&A session, Ariana spoke about the overall concept of the record:

"I feel like my personal growth is reflected in the sound. I'm really proud of it...To me a dangerous woman is someone who's not afraid to take a stand, be herself and to be honest."

Max Martin: The powerhouse producer worked on "Focus." He worked with Grande on her previous singles "Problem," "Break Free," "Love Me Harder" and  "Bang Bang."

Victoria Monet: When initially revealing the since-changed Moonlight album title, Grande said she wrote the track "Moonlight" with "v," who fans have come to know as Ariana collaborator and Atlantic Records' R&B singer Victoria Monet, who has also written for Mary J. Blige, Fifth Harmony and Chris Brown.

Lil Wayne: When Dangerous Woman went for pre-order on iTunes, Lil Wayne was revealed as one of three collaborations on the album with the song "Let Me Love You."

Nicki Minaj: After working together on Nick's "Get on Your Knees" from The Pinkprint, the ladies teamed up again for a new track that was confirmed when Ari shared Nicki's vocals on a sneaky Snapchat post.

Macy Gray: Yep, Macy Gray. Ari revealed the "I Try" singer is featured on the album during an interview in March. She'll feature on the song "Leave Me Lonely."

Future: The rapper-singer appears on a track called "Everyday," which was revealed when Ariana unveiled the entire tracklist on her Instagram.

First Single Buzz Track: "Focus" (Released on October 30)
The funky track became Grande's sixth Top 10 hit and was originally announced as the lead single from the album. Ariana's label Republic Records told Billboard that "Focus" will not appear on the new album on March 21.

First Single: "Dangerous Woman" (Released on March 11)
In the February 2016 livechat, Ariana revealed that she'll release her second single the day before she performs it, along with another new song, on Saturday Night Live.

The album's title track and single was revealed in full when Dangerous Woman went for pre-sale on iTunes. The title track got the official "first single" mark when Republic Records announced "Focus" would not appear on the album.

-"Moonlight," originally planned as the title track to AG's third LP, the track is most likely acting as the intro song to the album after the singer teased what looked like the start of Dangerous Woman's tracklist on Snapchat:

Ari had previously teased some lyrics of the song, which she wrote with R&B singer Victoria Monet.

There's been no word if we'll hear the track ahead of the album release.

-"Be Alright"
A song that's been teased by Ariana on social media, the singer sang a few lines of it in her streaming Q&A session to hype up fans. The singer gave the house-inspired track its live debut with a dance-heavy performance during he SNL gig on March 12, and released it in full on March 18.

-"Let Me Love You" featuring Lil Wayne
The song title and collaborator was confirmed when Dangerous Woman went up for pre-order on iTunes. Ari has since been teasing snippets of the glitchy, trappy hip-hop-pop song on social media and the track was revealed in full as an instant-grat single for pre-orders of Dangerous Woman on iTunes Japan on April 18.

-"Into You"
On May 6, Ariana revealed yet another new track from the album titled "Into You." The feel-good club anthem is rumored to be the second official single off Dangerous Woman. The singer will perform the track at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.

-"Everyday" featuring Future
The collaboration was released onto Apple Music and iTunes on May 13, a week before Dangerous Woman's release.

-"Side to Side" (featuring Nicki Minaj)
A collaboration with Nicki more or less confirmed when Ari posted this Snapchat snippet on her account on April 7. The song title and feature was confirmed when Ariana revealed the full Dangerous Woman tracklist on April 16. The full song was released for streaming via Apple Music on May 15.

-"Leave Me Lonely" featuring Macy Gray
On April 8, the popstress held a concert at as Vegas' T-Mobile Arena and revealed a new Dangerous Woman track, presumed to be the Macy Gray collaboration "Leave Me Lonely," based on the lyrics. Watch the live reveal below and listen up for the "I Try" singer's voice:

An April 19th Snapchat from Ariana seemed to tease new song "Sometimes" given the little diva prominently sings the words in this clip caught on a fan's Twitter. Ariana gave another preview via her Instagram less than week before Dangerous Woman's official release, and the full song made its world premiere on Apple Music's Beats 1 radio on Sunday, May 15.

-"Ain't About What You Got"
-"Nobody Does It Better"
-"Not Afraid of Love"
-"Saturday Love"
