The Fulton County Medical Examiner in Atlanta, Ga. has determined Bobbi Kristina Brown's cause of death to be a combination of drowning and drug intoxication. According to People, the toxicology report found marijuana, alcohol, "a cocaine-related substance," sedative and anti-anxiety medications and morphine in her system.

These reports come after Bobbi Kristina died in hospice on July 26, 2015—six months after being found unresponsive in her bathtub.

The medical examiner's office said this in a statement:

"The underlying cause of death is the condition which starts the downhill course of events leading to death and in this case is the immersion associated with drug intoxication. The pneumonia and encephalopathy are more immediate causes which resulted from the immersion and drug intoxication."

They were not able to determine whether Bobbi Kristina's death, which came after mother Whitney Houston's passing in 2012, was an accident or intentional. Boyfriend Nick Gordon is currently in the middle of a legal battle with Brown's family, who have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against him.
