Last month, Fergie’s husband, Josh Duhamel, accidentally revealed on the Rich Eisen Show that the singer's second album would be coming in a month. “I think they’re calling it Double Dutchess,” said Duhamel. “I’m not sure if I’m supposed to know or not.”
Venus Brown, one of the members on Fergie’s team, has been disclosing more information in Instagram about the release (via Idolator). He shared two pictures within the last week that show the album is in its last stages. The first photo is captioned, “With the Mixing Genius himself #TonyMaserati putting the final touches on #TheDoubleDutchess!”
The most recent photo includes Fergie along with a crew of musicians. The second photo’s caption reads:
“About last night. In the studio putting the live finishing touches on #DoubleDutchess with two of my favorite people in the world @fergie @terracemartin and his incredible crew of musicians bringing that Compton/ South Central Swag to Hacienda Heights favorite daughter!!!”
Double Dutchess will be Fergie’s follow-up to her debut solo album The Dutchess, which was released back in 2006. No news on an official release date for her sophomore album. Check the photos out below.
