Last night (March 10) marked a very special moment for Madonna fans in Australia, as the artist returned Down Under for the first time in 23 (!!) years, since her Girlie Show tour. So to make the evening even more memorable, Madge decided to stray away from her Rebel Heart Tour set and put on an intimate and free show titled Tears of a Clown.
The concert, which took place at The Forum Theatre, began late (in typical Madonna fashion) as fans reportedly waited outside in the rain for hours before the singer got on stage. But once she did arrive, it was surely a grand entrance! Madge, who was dressed as a sad pink-haired clown, rolled onto the stage on a tiny tricylce.
In addition performing classics like "Take a Bow, "Borderline" and "Substitute for Love," the Queen of Pop also dedicated her song "Intervention" (from 2003's American Life) to her 15-year-old son Rocco. Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie are currently in a custody battle over him.
