This Meghan Trainor & Britney Spears Mash-Up is '00s Pop Overload: Listen
The Internet can be a sad/weird place most of the time, but there are moments when a gem manages to push through to brighten everyone's day. And today, it comes in the form of a music mash-up! Meghan Trainor's incredible "No" single serves up major late '90s/early '00s pop vibes a la Destiny's Child, Dream and Britney Spears.
Naturally, producer/godsend Raheem D decided to mash it together with the Princess of Pop's 2001 classic—"Overprotected." The pairing couldn't be more spot on, as Spears' rebellious dance-pop tune smoothly fuses with Trainor's sassy Y2K-inspired synth/R&B stomper. How's that for a Throwback Thursday?
