Zakk Wylde's gearing up for the April 8 release of Book of Shadows II, his first solo album in 20 years. The Black Label Society frontman and onetime Ozzy Osbourne lead guitarist recently swung by Fuse to chat about the record a couple weeks ago, and now he's hit up Loudwire for a performance you never, on even your most imaginative day, could've dreamed up.
Watch above as Wylde busts out the 1970 Black Sabbath tune "N.I.B.," a standout on the metal forefathers' debut album. He does it, by the way, on a Hello Kitty guitar.
"Since I'm rollin' with the 1962 Hello Kitty," Wylde jokes in his intro, "I figured it'd be appropriate that I play this band because they are the cat's pajamas." In October, Loudwire got Dream Theater's Mike Portnoy to go crazy on a Hello Kitty drumset; 2.5 million viewers have checked it out.
