For those of you who were begging for an Adele biopic, we're here to crush your dreams. Rumors have been floating around the Internet that Rebel Wilson would be playing the U.K. powerhouse in an upcoming film. Both the actress and singer have shut down the claims.

During her tour stop at London's O2 arena on Monday night (April 4), Adele addressed the rumors to the audience. In her infamous cockney banter, she said:

"I've heard there are rumors about Rebel Wilson will be playing me in a movie. Let's see if that turns out to be true. You don't get to make a film without my f--king permission. Shut up. There's no film. Just because I'm plus-sized doesn't mean she's playing me."
