Block B and GFriend are the first acts revealed for the Los Angeles iteration of the Korean-culture festival coming to the city's famed Staples Center this July. KCON returns for its fifth time in L.A. this year for another three days of conventions and two days of concerts.

An act who has always stood out among other boy bands, Block B is the seven-member male act known for pairing their bombastic personalities with a slew of different genres including attitude-filled hip-hop (see "Jackpot" or "H.E.R.") and most recently neo-soul-inspired R&B with their new buzz single "A Few Years Later" (above) that previews their upcoming Blooming Period album that fans will get to experience live. Block B performed at KCON Los Angeles last year.

Meanwhile, GFriend is one of the standout rookie girl groups and garnered a strong following for their innocent and fresh sound, and athletic choreography. Most recently, the girl group scored a huge hit with their new single "Rough" after earning attention from their past singles "Glass Bead" and "Me Gustas Tu" (the latter of which took off internationally thanks to a viral performance video). Fuse recently named GFriend one of the top new groups to debut in 2015. The performance will mark GFriend's KCON debut.

Don't forget KCON returns to the New York area for their East Coast date on June 24 and 25 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Then a month later, the fest will hit LA for three days of fun during July 29-31 at the Staples Center.

Tickets for KCON NY go on sale beginning May 13 for combo/platinum tickets with single tickets on sale the 16th. Meanwhile, combo/platinum tickets for KCON LA begin on June 3 with single tickets starting on the 6th.
