Surely to the surprise of no one and the delight of many, Deadpool 2 has been officially announced. Ryan Reynolds and director Tim Miller are set to return. The February flick, which made $757.3 million at the international box office and became the most successful R-rated movie ever, was Miller's first feature. Great job, buddy!

Screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are also coming back.

Additionally, producer Simon Kinberg told SuperHeroHype he'd be super down with a Deadpool/Spider-Man crossover movie. (They've got a long-standing comic book history.) Here's what Kinberg had to say:

“I would love to see it. Both [Tim Miller and I] are close with [Marvel’s] Kevin [Feige], we respect and love Kevin. If it were even remotely possible, we will find a way ’cause we’d would love to see it.”
