Future & Jay Z Have a Song on the Way, Says Producer Southside

In a new interview with DJ Whoo Kid, producer/Atlanta royalty Southside said he and DJ Khaled have a song with their steady collaborator Future on the way. Also on the track? Jay Z, the man people desperately need a real verse from after his bait-and-switch on Drake's new song "Pop Style." (It's billed as "featuring The Throne," but Jay raps two tiny lines before handing the mic to Kanye West.)

In 2014, Future told an interviewer, "I wanna work with Jay Z, somehow, some way. ... Even being in the studio and just going over ideas and shit, I believe we'd come up with something crazy."

Southside, who produced Watch the Throne's "Illest Motherfucker Alive," said he sampled Jake One and G-Coup on the new Hov/Future single. "That shit's crazy," he teased. Just like Future predicted!
