Watch a Mariachi Band Cover Blink-182 & Fall Out Boy

If you're unfamiliar with Emo Night parties, well, that's a bummer. We're here to educate (it's our job, after all).

Some smart, beautiful young people in Los Angeles decided it would be fun to organize a monthly party where other smart, beautiful young people can come together and sing the songs of their youth: Taking Back SundayAll Time LowMy Chemical Romance and the like. There's now a New York City version of the same party, but the O.G. event finds a home in L.A.

Last night the west coast team hosted their party with a special surprise: a mariachi band joined the DJs onstage and rocked through some classics like Blink-182's "What's My Age Again?" (which you can watch in the above,) and "All The Small Things."

They also mastered Fall Out Boy's "Sugar We're Goin' Down" (below) and New Found Glory's "My Friends Over You." Watch the videos, feel the belated FOMO, take our quiz: How Emo Are You?
