New 'X Men: Apocalypse' Trailer Teases Wolverine

There's a lot to take in with the new X-Men: Apocalypse trailer, but the very last frame of it has Marvel fans freaking out over a few—well, three, to be precise—strips of merciless metal in particular.

Apocalypse, the follow-up to 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past, features many of the familiar faces we've come to know as the massively popular comic book franchise plays out on the big screen. Since 2000's X-Men, Hugh Jackman has played the part of Wolverine, the hot-tempered, hairy dude with a fondness for flannel and ripping his enemies to shreds with his razor claws. He's appeared in nearly every X-Men flick since then—and two Wolverine standalones—and it looks like Apocalypse is the next one to feature his epic sideburns and lethal paws.

The latest trailer gives more details than the first two, which introduced a new villain, Apocalypse (played by Oscar Isaac) and brought back Professor X (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult) and more from Days of Future Past. It looks like Mystique is our rallying, take-charge heroine here, a position that Wolverine has typically assumed, so it'll be awesome to see what other twist and turns await us in the next X-Men installment.
