Your favorite first-person military shooter, if you didn't hear, is going to space this fall. And now we've got a look. A lonnng, explosive look, in the form of the first Call of Duty: Infinite War trailer.
Above, you'll see the troops try to handle "the biggest surprise attack in the history of the world" on the ground before taking the fight to space. (They're fighting against a rogue human army, not aliens. So far as we can tell.) When they clear Earth's atmosphere at the 1:50 mark, a rocked-out version of David Bowie's "Space Oddity" kicks in.
The official game description says it "returns to the roots of the franchise where large-scale war and cinematic, immersive military storytelling take center stage."
Call of Duty debuted in 2003. Last year's Black Ops III was the series' 12th entry. Infinite War, which comes from Call of Duty: Ghosts and Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward, drops on Nov. 4.
