For its fourth week in a row, Drake’s most recent album Views continues on at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
As Billboard reports, this is the most weeks a solo male artist’s album release has held No. 1 in over four years. The last male artist to spend more time on the chart was Michael Buble with his Christmas album in 2011 for a consecutive five weeks. Following Buble for the record is Eminem who spent seven nonconsecutive weeks on the chart with his album Recovery. From this past week, Views has garnered another 189,000 equivalent album units, 50,000 of which are from traditional album sales.
Following Drake at No. 2 is Ariana Grande with her third studio album Dangerous Woman. For its debut week, Dangerous Woman earned 170,000 equivalent album units. At No. 3 Blake Shelton enters the mix with If I’m Honest which launched onto the Billboard 200 with 170,000 album units.
