Earlier this year, Five Finger Death Punch's label, Prospect Park, filed a lawsuit against the band, one they've now famously have declared "bullshit." You can read all about that here.

The guys are totally ready to leave that contract...and with one album left, it looks like they'll soon leave PP to sign with metal heavyweights Rise Records (part of major label BMG.)

Guitarist Zoltan Bathory shared the following statement:

“We are looking forward to the next phase of our recording career. We have had great success with our current label, Prospect Park, and will continue to enjoy further success with our next and final album (subject to surmounting the label’s court action to prevent us from recording it), after which we will commence a new and exciting label partnership with the people at Rise and BMG.”

Make sure to check out our interview with the band. Then watch Five Finger Death Punch cause havoc at the 2013 Mayhem Festival alongside Rob Zombie and other A-listers, below.
