Yesterday we told you actor power couple Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are getting a divorce. It was Heard who filed, according to CNN, on Sunday in Los Angeles. Irreconcilable differences are at the heart of the split.
This morning Depp has responded, his team releasing a statement to E! News.
"Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly."
Hmmm. He's right about it being a brief union: the pair started dating in 2012, wed in February 2015 and split this month.
