Johnny Depp Mocks His Awkward Apology Video at Press Conference

Back in April, Johnny Depp and wife Amber Heard released a video with the Australian Department of Agriculture, apologizing for bringing their dogs into the country without following the proper procedures. The awkward, "are these people being held hostage right now?" vibe has led to 4.7 million views.

And Depp knows you love it, using an English press conference for Alice Through the Looking Glass as a follow-up.

Responding to an inaudible question in the clip above, Depp said:

"I would like to—I'm gonna do this everywhere I go: I would really like to apologize for not smuggling my dogs into England, because it would have been a bad thing to do, because the Australians, though chipper and, um, y'know, kind of..."

He trails off, and directorial life partner Tim Burton makes a joke about killing Depp's dogs by sitting on them. Nothing not weird going on here!
