It's been four years since Pink's last album release, but the pop star is tiding fans over with "Just Like Fire," a new single from the Alice Through The Looking Glass soundtrack. Pink gave the racing new track its live debut on Sunday night (May 22) during an extravagant Billboard Music Awards performance that included a lot of what the singer-songwriter does best: flying away from the stage.
The "Just Like Fire" performance opened with Pink almost immediately taking flight, as the pop star was hoisted toward the T-Mobile Arena rafters and spun around as other aerial artists twirled around flames onstage. Yet Pink wasn't "flying free" the entire performance; the pop star returned to the main stage to show off some choreography and high-five some fans. The performance ended with Pink perched in front of a burning clock high above the stage, to a ton of applause.
Since its release last month, "Just Like Fire" has become a Top 40 hit on the Hot 100 chart and will be featured in Alice Through The Looking Glass, due out Friday (May 27). The single was produced by Max Martin, Shellback and Oscar Holter. Check out the "Just Like Fire" video here.
