The Sharknado movie franchise is nearing a return to the Syfy channel for its fourth installation.

As the series often cobbles together a large group of (not-really) celebrities and forgotten public figures—Frankie Muniz and disgraced former New York congressman Anthony Weiner appeared in Sharknado 3—it's probably no surprise that Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor will feature in Sharknado 4. The metal vocalist told Loudwire on Tuesday (May 3) about his budding acting career, and that he appears in the film as a security guard, which is quite the departure from his mask-wearing antics in Slipknot.

"I would love to do more acting," Taylor said. "If there's anyone watching or listening, I would love to audition for your weird, indie horror movie. I'll be Zombie Number 6. I'm totally down, I'll bring my own lunch."

The fourth film, Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, is heavy on the pun-riffage and Star Wars worship. Like its predecessors, the cast is chock-full of semi-stars like David Hasselhoff, who returns to the series alongside Tara Reid. Cynthia Bailey (The Real Housewives of Atlanta), Stacey Dash (Clueless) and Duane Chapman—better known as Dog from Dog The Bounty Hunter—round out the cast. The movie premieres on the Syfy Channel on July 31.
