The guy who brought you Space Jam does not want that other guy to bring you Space Jam 2. Joe Pytka, the 77-year-old multi-time Michael Jackson videographer, told the Hollywood Reporter of the newly confirmed LeBron James–starring sequel, "Don't do it. It's doomed. Michael Jordan was the biggest star on the planet."

Pulling off that "back in my day" tone as effortlessly as Jordan swishing a three, Pytka expounded:

"When we did Space Jam, there was a perfect storm of players and ex-players available—Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing. They all had a persona that complemented the film. There are none around like that now."

You hear that, NBA? Pytka says you SUCK!

Hopefully director Justin Lin, helmer of four Fast & Furious movies and the upcoming Star Trek Beyond, is taking note. Pytka just DUNKED on your whole PROJECT!
