The talk show The Real will be saying goodbye to Tamar Braxton.
Braxton and The Real released a joint statement that revealed Braxton’s departure was a mutual decision. Braxton, best known for her appearances on Braxton Family Values, co-hosted the daytime talk show alongside Loni Love, Tamera Mowry, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Bailon.
Following Braxton’s exit, the statement announced that Braxton will be working on her solo career. Her last solo album Calling All Lovers was released in 2015. There is no information yet as to who will replace Braxton. The joint statement reads:
"THE REAL and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season. She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career. Everyone associated with THE REAL appreciates Tamar's efforts and the contributions she has made to the show's success, and we wish her all the best for the future."
