Music lovers take their fandom very, very seriously, but Frank Pain is bringing it to the next level! The Texas native and Rock 108 radio host calls himself the biggest Foo Fighters fan, and wants to buy frontman Dave Grohl. Yes, Pain is looking to purchase a human being.

He set up a GoFundMe page called “Help Me Purchase Dave Grohl," which has an ultimate goal of $35K. The page currently has $478 in funds. Pain's main request from Grohl is quite simple: he wants to "hang out and high five and shit. Heck, I may give him a bro-hug or two as well."

Pain's GoFundMe description questions if this whole thing is actually legal or not (he should definitely look into that):

"I'm not 100% the amount I'm asking for will buy him. Hell, I'm not even sure if it's legal to purchase another human being without being some central part of a 20/20 tv special. But, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try, right? Since everyone has their hands out these days, I thought I'd join the party - primarily because I don't have that kind of scratch. If it is indeed illegal to purchase another human (or if Mr. Grohl isn't a willing purchasee) then I'll spend the money on beer because Dave seems like the kind of person that would want me to drink beer."

The Texan has been a longtime fan of Grohl and his bandmates, and even accepted their ALS ice bucket challenge in 2014. We will continue to update you if Pain reaches his goal.
